Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation - Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is an
independent agency created by the U.S. Congress to maintain stability and public confidence in the
nation's financial system by insuring deposits, examining and supervising financial institutions for safety
and soundness and consumer protection, and managing receiverships.

Federal Reserve Board - The Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington DC.

Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council - The Council is a formal inter agency body
empowered to prescribe uniform principles, standards, and report forms for the federal examination of
financial institutions by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (FRB), the Federal
Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), the Office of
the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), and the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) and to make
recommendations to promote uniformity in the supervision of financial institutions.

Federal Reserve Banks - Split into 12 Districts located in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Cleveland,
Richmond, Atlanta, Chicago, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Dallas, and San Francisco

National Credit Union Administration - A federal agency that charters and supervises federal credit
unions throughout the United States and its territories.

Office of the Comptroller of the Currency - Regulates, supervises all national banks, and also supervises
the federal branches and agencies of foreign banks.

Office of Thrift Supervision - The OTS supervises a national thrift industry that is built on the bedrock of
the American dream of home ownership—supplying affordable home financing for Americans from all
walks of life.

U.S. Federal Register - The Federal Register, on GPO Access, is the daily publication for Rules, Proposed
Rules, and Notices of the Federal Government.

U.S. Department of the Treasury - The Treasury Offices are composed of divisions headed by Assistant
Secretaries and Under Secretaries who are primarily responsible for policy formulation and overall
management of the Treasury Department.  Domestic Finance,  Economic Policy, General Counsel,
International Affairs, Management/CFO, Public Affairs, Tax Policy, Terrorism and Financial Intelligence
(TFI) and the Treasurer of the United States.

American Bankers Association - American Bankers Association has financial and regulatory information
for consumers, bankers and members of the financial services industry.

Internal Revenue Service - The IRS is a bureau of the Department of the Treasury and one of the world's
most efficient tax administrators.

Securities & Exchange Commission - U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission: official Federal Agency
website, including news, legal and other releases and reports, investor education material, and the
EDGAR database of corporate disclosure reports.

Federal National Mortgage Administration - Fannie Mae's Web site provides information about
foreclosure prevention, news about the company, information for the media and investors, information
about career opportunities, properties for sale and access to our business-to-business Web site,
eFannieMae.com.

Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation - Freddie Mac works with mortgage lenders to help people get
lower housing costs and better access to home financing. Site contains news, products, services and
home ownership advice.

Small Business Administration - An independent agency of the federal government to aid, counsel, assist
and protect the interests of small business concerns, to preserve free competitive enterprise and to
maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation.

Bank Administrative Institute - (BAI), The banking and financial service industry's premier provider of
information, education and training.

Financial Managers Society - Financial Managers Society (FMS) is an individual membership association
comprised of CEOs, CFOs, controllers, treasurers, and internal auditors from banks, thrifts and credit
unions. FMS offers career-enhancing education, news and research, leadership opportunities and
connections with other finance accounting professionals from financial institutions.

Independent Community Bankers of America - The Independent Community Bankers of America
represents the interests of the community banking industry and the communities and customers they
serve.

Sarbanes-Oxley - Sarbanes-Oxley provides a complete cross-referenced index of SEC filers, audit firms,
offices, CPAs, services, fees, compliance/enforcement actions and other critical disclosure information.

Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation - Headquartered in London, HSBC is one of the largest
banking and financial services organisations in the world. HSBC's international network comprises
around 8,500 offices in 86 countries and territories in Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, the Americas, the
Middle East and Africa.  

Financial Accounting Standards Board - is the independent, private-sector organization with
responsibility for the oversight, administration, and finances of the Financial Accounting Standards
Board (FASB), the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB), and their advisory councils, the
Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council (FASAC) and the Governmental Accounting Standards
Advisory Council (GASAC). The FAF selects the members of the standard-setting Boards and Councils,
and protects the independence of the Boards.
